I had a realization last night. Like most Tumblrers, I have spent a lot of time pining for more followers and scheming on how to get more followers. But I realized this is sort of as if I was doing a live comedy show and instead of focusing on my audience, I was constantly looking out the door hoping more audience members would show up. I’m not going to do that anymore.
Every comedian wants a bigger audience. But once the show starts, all that matters is the audience you have. I’m going to start focusing more on the followers I have. You guys are great and seeing your likes, reblogs, and replies really makes my day.
